The Race
The Intertidal exists for only hours a day, a unique point-point running challenge across Jersey's foreshore, linking six landmarks between Gorey and St Aubin's. It's a landscape where archaeology, geology, and ecology meet in a way that's rare even among island environments.
With the clock ticking as the tide turns, it's equal parts adventure, discipline, and respect for the sea.
Why It's Different
Tide-dependent
We don't create a cut-off, the sea does. The route is built around the low-tide window requiring careful timing.
Landmark-driven
Collect six coastal icons in one continuous push across ever-changing terrain.
Jersey-first
A totally unique event with the island's coastline being the headline act, not the backdrop.
Real conditions
Expect the unexpected. Exposed to wind, spray, rain, sun, uneven surfaces, and variable footing, every step is a challenge.
