Safety
The Intertidal is tide-dependent and takes place on mixed coastal terrain. Your safety and the safety of those around you is the priority. You are expected to make conservative decisions and treat the sea with respect. If in doubt, retreat. Fight another day.
Tide Window
Key Rule
Do not commit to a section if you are unsure if you can clear it safely.
The route uses the low-tide window. As the tide turns, sections can become unsafe or impassable. Race-day timings will be confirmed in your pre-race pack based on conditions.
